Privacy statement

1. Who we are

Noord Nexus (KvK 95292012) places EU citizens on permanent contracts with Dutch employers. We are the controller for the personal data described in this statement. Questions or requests: [email protected].

2. What we collect and why

• Candidates: name, contact details, CV, work experience, languages, nationality, date of birth and the documents needed for an employment contract and registration. Purpose: recruitment, matching, contract and settling support.
• Employers: company name, contact details and the vacancy details. Purpose: filling the vacancy and the placement agreement.
• Partner agencies: company name, contact details, registration and licence details and the profiles supplied. Purpose: the collaboration and the placement.

We collect no more than is needed for these purposes.

3. Legal bases

We process on the basis of: your consent (candidates), performance or preparation of a contract (employers and partner agencies), our legitimate interest in recruitment and placement, and legal obligations.

4. Candidate data and consent

A profile only goes to an employer with the candidate’s consent, and in steps: first an anonymised profile, then an interview invitation, and only then full details. Candidates never pay Noord Nexus anything.

5. Sharing

Employers first receive an anonymised profile. We also share data with partner agencies involved in the placement and with service providers working for us, such as our accountant and our form processing, with a data-processing agreement where required. We never sell personal data.

6. Retention

We keep candidate data for 12 months after the last contact, unless the candidate asks for earlier deletion or an employment contract is running. We keep employer and partner agency data for the duration of the collaboration and then for the statutory retention periods.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to and transfer your data. Send your request to [email protected]. We respond within one month.

8. Cookies and tracking

This website uses no marketing or analytics cookies and does not track you. Only what is needed to show the site and remember your language choice.

9. Security

We protect data with encrypted connections, access for those who need it and careful selection of suppliers.

10. Changes and complaints

We may update this statement; the date at the top changes with it. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). You can also write to us first at [email protected].
